We had an EPC workshop but before they, we were told that find and bring three objects to the workshop.Firstly, we discussed how to join two things with different materials to each other, and then we started!
My first object was a hanger which I found in the park under a bench, the second one was a shell from the seaside and the last one was a cap of plastic bottle and its ring. We had to make new things by using them without any background story, so decided to use a wooden base and cut it with a saw. After that, I nailed the bottle cap, its ring and the shell to my wooden base. Then I put my hanger between my base and a wooden stick and fixed them with glue.
After I created this thing, it reminded me the story of life, children are passing their childhood with simple challenges but when they grow up, they determine their goals and what they want from their life. As a fact, goals are on different levels as well as their value. Moreover, there are many ways to achieve our goal, some of them are longer and a few of them are like a shortcut so choosing the correct goal and its path could accelerate the success process.
After that, I tried to create a new object. Firstly, I used a screw to join a wooden stick to a wooden base, and then I nailed three other sticks to my base and just hung my shell, bottle cap and its ring to the nails in different levels. Then put my hanger under the mentioned screw.
I did This practice without any mind background but all the things that happened and were created, were dependent on my background and the shapes that I saw before.
Creating an object without a background typically involves creating a design or image that is not surrounded by any other visual elements or context. This can be achieved in a variety of ways, depending on the medium and tools being used. In digital design, for example, it is common to create an object with a transparent background by using a graphics editor such as Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator. This involves using tools such as the Magic Wand or Lasso to select the object and then deleting or hiding any background layers. In traditional art forms such as painting or drawing, creating an object without a background may involve using techniques such as negative space or minimalism. Negative space refers to the area around an object, which can be used to create visual interest and emphasize the object itself. Minimalism involves using a limited number of visual elements to create a clean and simple composition, often without any background elements at all.
Overall, creating an object without a background can be a useful technique for emphasizing the object itself and creating a sense of focus and clarity in the overall design or image.
Let’s learn to Enjoy the journey even the shortcuts are quite tempting. Deniz
